We Will Continue To Walk

On Sunday, a number of residents gathered outside the shops on Bournehall Road and went on a community walk around the fields. This included children and adults of all ages. Although the fields have been ploughed, extremely badly, residents will continue to use the fields as they have for decades.

The two public footpaths remain untouched but the number of paths that have been used by residents for decades have been ploughed and are no longer visable. The main path from the shops on Bournehall Road towards Queens School is beginning to resemble a footpath again. The arrows on the map below taken from google earth shows the paths that have been ploughed.
