With the weather improving its clear that something is growing in the fields. I was informed by the landowners that it's Wheat. It's most noticeable in the fields to the east, closest to Little Bushey lane.
These photos were provided by a resident on Hayfield Close which were taken in the 1990's. This was probably the last time that the fields were harvested. Hopefully they will resemble something similar this summer.
