The tractors were back out on the fields again today. I managed to speak with one of the drivers and he confirmed they are going to be growing wheat. He is from Radlett and is responsible for the sowing of the fields and will be harvesting them next year. He commented that the ground was a mess but it's significantly improved with the second plough.
He pointed out that they have laid blue pellets on the fields to kill the slugs. He confirmed that they are safe for birds and wildlife and will not cause any harm.
